2012 Preservation Achievement Awards

Preservation Dallas presented the 13th Annual Preservation Achievement Awards on Wednesday May 16. Held at the historic Majestic Theatre, more than 300 attendees applauded outstanding development of Dallas’ historic buildings and places, as well as the people that contribute to the city’s history. The Awards Committee and our Master of Ceremony, Texas House of Representatives member Rafael Anchia, presented a wonderful event and reception.

Special Tribute

The 2012 awards included a special tribute to the City of Dallas for their stewardship and vision for our great city, both past and present.

2012 Award Recipients

Preservation Dallas was pleased to present 2012 Preservation Achievement Awards to:

  • Monroe Shops
  • Fire Station No. 15
  • Cottages of Eighth Street
  • Hall of State Building at Fair Park
  • U.S. Post Office and Courthouse
  • Interpretation Program at Fair Park
  • 4519 Gaston Avenue, First Unitarian Church
  • 508 Park Avenue
  • 500 South Ervay Street
