Earlier this summer, The Dallas Architecture Forum partnered with Preservation Dallas to present an important Panel Discussion on “The Future of Fair Park”. Presented on June 29, 2022 at the Hall of State, the program covered important updates about new and planned developments for Fair Park, one of the City of Dallas’ most important architectural, cultural and community cornerstones. Attendees were informed by Ron Stelmarski, FAIA about the Fair Park Master Plan developed by Perkins&Will. Darren James, FAIA and Brian Luallen of Fair Park First and Katie Miles of Overland Partners also updated those present about what developments have already occurred or are in process in the Fair Park area to create a more inclusive park area and other amenities for the surrounding neighborhoods and the North Texas community. David Preziosi, FAICP of the Texas Historical Foundation moderated a discussion among the Panelists in addition to answering questions from the audience.
